The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the results for the Civil Services mains examination 2023 on December 8. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access the results on the official website at upsc.gov.in. The Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, took place from September 15, 2023, to September 24, 2023.

The official notification states, “On the basis of the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023, held by the Union Public Service Commission from 15th September 2023 to 24th September 2023, the candidates with the Roll Numbers and Names, as given below, have qualified for the Personality Test (Interview) for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’).”

The candidates who have qualified will undergo their personality tests (interviews) at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069; the dates for which will be announced in due course. The candidates can download their e-Summon Letters for the Personality Tests (Interviews) from the Commission’s website.

UPSC Mains Result 2023 Released at upsc.gov.in: On December 8, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the results for Civil Services mains examination 2023. Candidates who took the exam can view their results on the official website — upsc.gov.in.

This year, the UPSC Civil Services Main exam took place from September 15 to 24. The results of 28 candidates are withheld due to pending court cases. The marks sheets for all candidates will be uploaded on the Commission’s website within 15 days from the date of the final result publication (after conducting Personality Tests/Interviews) and will be available on the website for 30 days.

Candidates whose roll numbers are listed in the result PDF have qualified for the Personality Test (Interview) for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’).

All qualified candidates for the Personality Tests (Interviews) must fill and submit their Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II), available on the website from December 9 to 16 (5 pm). The dates of Personality Tests (Interviews) for these candidates will be notified in due course and will be held at the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069.

• Step 2: On the home page, click on the result link
• Step 3: A new page will open up in the form of a PDF.
• Step 4: Search for your roll number in the PDF.

Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the result PDF are eligible for the Personality Test (Interview) for the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’).
